Frequently Asked Questions
Usually within 24 hours on weekdays. If it's a bug report, I'll try to fix it before replying so I can confirm it's resolved. Feature requests take longer — I'll let you know if and when I can get to it.
Yeah, go for it. Unicode characters aren't copyrighted — they're an international standard. Use the styled text for client work, marketing, product descriptions, whatever. No attribution needed.
Older Android versions (below 8.0) don't support some Unicode blocks, so you might see boxes or missing characters. Try the Classic Underline or Bold styles — those use the oldest, most widely supported Unicode code points. If it's still broken, let me know your device and Android version in the contact form and I'll look into it.
Maybe! Send me a description of what you're looking for — ideally with a screenshot or example of the effect. If it's achievable with Unicode (not all effects are), I'll add it. The most-requested effects get prioritized.
Please tell me which tool, what text you typed, what style you picked, and what device/browser you're using. Screenshots help a lot. I take bug reports seriously because if one style is broken, people just leave — I'd rather know about it.
Not right now. Everything runs client-side in JavaScript, so there's no server endpoint to call. If you're a developer, the Unicode transformations are pretty straightforward to implement — the key code points are documented on each tool's page.
Email clients are all over the place with Unicode support. Gmail handles most styles fine. Outlook is hit or miss — it tends to strip combining characters in subject lines. Apple Mail works well. If email is your main use case, stick with bold (Mathematical Bold Unicode block) — it has the best email compatibility.
